SASH Specialist & 24/7 Emergency Vets – Alexandria is a purpose-built veterinary hospital near Sydney’s CBD, offering world-class emergency and specialist care. We provide 24/7 walk-in Emergency & Critical Care, no booking required. We also offer Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Dermatology, Reproduction, Anaesthesia, and advanced imaging (MRI, CT, fluoroscopy). Our hospital features a dedicated ICU, four surgical theatres, and a 24-hour walk-in emergency department. We’re also an AAPC Premier Poisons Centre. Founded by specialist vets and part of Australia’s largest vet-owned network, we work closely with local vets to deliver expert, compassionate care for pets across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Southern Shire.

During your appointment, the SASH vet will take down your pet’s full medical history. Then after your pet is examined, they will discuss any findings, initial diagnosis and if further tests or procedures (X-rays, blood tests, surgery) are required. Your pet might be able to go home with suggestions for management or treatment. If further investigation is required, your pet may need to be admitted.
If your pet is admitted it will only be after all costs and treatments have been discussed. Please take time to read through the treatment plan you have been given, and chat to SASH if you have any concerns. When your pet is admitted, a 50% minimum deposit is required.
Once admitted to SASH our team will regularly update you on your pet’s condition, but you can call any time if you have any specific concerns
