About the role
In this role, you will lead business partnering with the Fuel, Operations and Retail Solutions GMs in Retail. Provide commercial finance support to senior management for strategic and commercial decision making. Lead and prepare financial and commercial analysis (including business cases) to drive improved performance across the retail business including day-to-day operations, commercial and strategic initiatives (including QSR growth), portfolio review and business optimisation, new and existing products and services, and support other core strategic projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Finance business partner for Fuel, Operations and Retail Solutions
- Management of month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the partner functions
- Lead and prepare analysis for key business partners to assess key drivers of financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Lead and prepare financial analysis for a range of core strategic and commercial projects, including portfolio review, to support business decision making
- Engage with key stakeholders (including Retail Leadership Team) to communicate key findings an ensure understanding of financial implications
- Active role in talent management and team development of direct reports and other Retail Finance team members
- Interaction with cross functional teams to ensure collaborative approach to analysis and key findings, and appropriateness of business case assumptions
- Develop and drive continuous improvement in finance processes
- Analysis and interpretation of data, identification of issues/trends and implementation of corrective actions.
