The Role
As the Assistant Accountant, your role will be broad and varied and include the following duties (but not limited to):
- Support the month-end close, including journals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing fixed assets and supporting financial reporting processes
- Bank reconciliations for multiple entities
- Daily reconciliations of loan statements and associated journals
- Managing disbursements – including release and reconciliations of funds
- Manage AP office expenses
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Your Background
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- CPA/CA qualification or significantly part-qualified
- Strong month-end experience across journals and reconciliations
- Great communication skills
- Previous experience in legal, financial services or professional services will be highly regarded
