Lead Key Financial Operations
Company Background
Our client is a successful and well-known retail business with a recognised brand. Located in the Sydney CBD, this organisation is full of life and energy; there is never a dull moment in the finance team.
With trendy offices and a casual dress environment, this role represents a chance to display your all-around technical accounting skills. Working side by side with the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in steering the finance team to a smooth year-end.
The Role
As the Finance Manager, you will focus on a range of duties, with no week the same as the last – key areas of focus will be:
- Year-end closing and adjustments
- Month-end closing
- Statutory reporting, tax and compliance
- Support with team management and reviewing work
- Identifying areas of improvement (process and systems)
Your Background
To become a key member of the finance team, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Immediate availability
- Strong & recent experience using SAP (S4/HANA highly regarded)
- Prior experience as a Finance Manager
- Professional qualification
- Initiative-driven, can juggle tasks and work with multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
