Our client operates in the not-for-profit sector. They are a global and growing organisation that is passionate about what they do! They are values-driven, possess a busy and hard-working culture mixed with some fun and good times. Our client wants someone who can fit their culture and work on a full-time or part-time basis to assist with their bookkeeping and compliance for the business. They are based in the Sydney CBD and have hybrid WFH working arrangements.
The Role
This Bookkeeper role is newly created and sits in a growing finance team. Reporting to a supportive Manager, this role is diverse and includes the following:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable duties
- Preparation of BAS, PAYG and Superannuation
- Reconciliations and operational reporting
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Ad hoc admin support
Your Background
We are looking for candidates who fulfil the following criteria:
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar Bookkeeper, Accountant, Company Accountant, or Office/Accounts All-Rounder role
- Working experience with Xero
- Be hands-on, self-motivated, and happy to get involved with some operational and admin duties
- Hold permanent working rights (PR or Australian Citizenship)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
