Broad Hands-On Finance Support
Company Background
Our client is a leading Australian property developer specialising in high-end, luxury developments, founded over 30 years ago. The business has built a strong reputation in the market and maintains a strong development pipeline with multiple projects currently underway.
This position is office-based, five days a week and offers a unique chance to be part of a small, high-performing team within a professional, mature and focused environment.
The Role
Supporting a hands-on and highly experienced CFO, you will step into a broad and varied Finance Officer role with a strong potential to become permanent. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Full-function accounts payable
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes, including journals and prepayments
- Supporting accounts receivable function
- Assisting with ad hoc finance, operational and general office tasks
Your Background
To be considered for this position, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Immediately available (or no longer than 1 week's notice) with full-time working rights
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience at this level
- Strong and confident communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills (v/x look-ups, pivot tables)
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative
- Resilience and adaptability to deal with the complexities of the role
