Job Streetscapes & Waste - Local Council, Alexandria

We are currently recruiting Waste and Streetscapes Labourers for ongoing roles with local councils across Sydney. These positions offer consistent hours, multiple depot locations and the opportunity to secure long-term work within the local government sector.

What’s on Offer

• $37 – $42 per hour + super
• Overtime available
• Ongoing, full-time hours
• Multiple depot locations across Sydney
• Immediate starts

The Role Working across council waste and streetscapes teams, duties may include:

• Kerbside waste collection and clean-up
• Street sweeping, litter picking and public area maintenance
• Operating basic tools and equipment (brooms, blowers etc.)
• Assisting drivers and crews across various routes
• General labouring and depot duties

Requirements

• MR/HR Driver Licence preferred (not essential)
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Reliable, punctual and able to work early starts
• Previous waste, council or labouring experience highly regarded
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team
