About the role
The Content Creator is a critical professional role within the Marketing and Communications Department. The position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and works collaboratively with the Product Development and Sales teams. The role sits at a professional level within the organisational hierarchy, requiring the incumbent to exercise independent judgment and creative autonomy while ensuring all digital output aligns with the Company's overarching commercial objectives and brand identity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Multimedia Content Production
- Conceptualising, scripting, filming, and editing high-quality video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube, specifically showcasing pet product functionality and "unboxing" experiences.
- Capturing and post-processing professional-grade photography of pet products in both studio and lifestyle settings to be used across digital storefronts and social media.
- Designing visually compelling graphics and layouts for digital advertisements and promotional banners.
- Drafting technical yet accessible blog posts and articles for the Company website, focusing on pet care, aquarium maintenance, and product innovations to drive SEO performance.
- Writing persuasive and brand-consistent captions for all social media platforms, tailored to the specific demographics of each channel.
- Developing email marketing copy and newsletters to communicate product launches and promotional offers to the Company's subscriber based
- Developing and executing a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with seasonal trends in the pet industry and internal product launch cycles.
- Managing the Company's presence across social media platforms, including community management, responding to enquiries, and fostering engagement with pet enthusiasts.
- Implementing SEO best practices across all written content to improve organic search rankings for key pet product categories.
Analytics and Performance Reporting
- Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, reach, and conversion metrics to assess the effectiveness of content campaigns.
- Utilising data insights to refine content strategies and ensure a high return on investment (ROI) for digital marketing activities.
- Conducting market research on pet industry trends and competitor content strategies to ensure Dalua Australia remains at the forefront of the digital landscape.
Essential Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) or equivalent professional editing software.
- Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills with a keen eye for detail and brand voice.
- Demonstrated expertise in social media management tools and platform-specific algorithms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate the features of complex pet technology products.
