The Role:
Reporting to the Store Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading products.
- Stock refill in stores.
- Transfer of product.
- Receipting of deliveries.
- Making product claims on faulty and damaged goods.
- Identifying/reporting hazards and issues.
- Conducting stocktakes and cycle counts.
Who You Are:
- Previous experience in a stock person position in a retail environment.
- Ability to receive and process a high volume of stock.
- Reasonable level of physical fitness to carry out related tasks.
- Previous experience in sales/retail.
- Knowledge of POS system or similar.
- Flexible availability across 7-day trading.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An outgoing and friendly personality.
- The ability to be proactive and take on new instructions/tasks.
You must be willing to work either a day shift, afternoon or night shift and will have a flexible and positive attitude, good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be safety and team focused.
