The Role
This is a newly created role reporting to a supportive Head of Finance. Your duties as the Assistant Accountant will include:
- Month-end reporting
- General ledger maintenance
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Fixed Asset management
- Assisting with BAS preparation
Your Background
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you must possess the following attributes:
- Be degree-qualified
- Possess 2-3 years of working experience performing month-end duties (journals, general ledger reconciliations, accruals, cash flow) at the Assistant Accountant level
- Excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Immediately available or on a short notice period
- Willing to commit to the 12-month contract
