About the role:
Unifying our customer experience across physical and digital channels, our Digital team build and deliver products where technology meets our customers – web, app, and retail.
This role is to elicit, analyse, and curate digital requirements that support the Ampol App and AU Loyalty strategies, translating customer, commercial, and business objectives into delivery-ready outcomes. The Business Analyst will work closely with business, digital, and technology stakeholders to consolidate and prioritise requirements across mobile app, loyalty, CRM, and POS initiatives, enabling a clear and aligned programme of work. Acting as a key connector between strategy and delivery, the role ensures requirements are well-defined, customer-focused, and aligned to both product vision and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
Eliciting requirements across the Ampol App and AU Loyalty initiatives into clear quarterly delivery horizons
Shaping and maintaining a prioritised backlog aligned to customer and loyalty growth strategies
Defining end-to-end customer journeys across digital, in-store, and loyalty touchpoints
Partnering closely with Product Managers, Experience Designers, Engineers, and Delivery teams to support execution
Enabling delivery of app features integrated with CRM and POS platforms
Ensuring requirements are validated, delivery-ready, and aligned to both customer value and technical feasibility
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience collaborating across business, digital, marketing, loyalty, and technology teams
Strong ability to align diverse stakeholder perspectives into a single, coherent set of requirements
Confidence working with senior business stakeholders and product leadership
Expertise in soliciting requirements across business, digital product, and technology stakeholders
Experience managing dependencies across app, loyalty, CRM, and POS ecosystems
Strong documentation skills (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria)
Demonstrated experience applying product thinking to requirements definition
Focus on customer value, usability, and measurable outcomes
Ability to balance customer experience, technical constraints, and commercial priorities
