Service Coordinator:

You’ll play a key role in keeping client sites running smoothly, working closely with Account Leads and a large contractor network to coordinate maintenance works across a broad range of services.
About the Role This is an account-based Service Coordinator role, where you will have end-to-end ownership of a key client account. You’ll manage a steady volume of 20–30 work orders per day, ranging from routine preventative maintenance through to urgent reactive works. Services coordinated typically include handyman, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping/grounds maintenance and other core trade services.
The role is office-based, using SimPro to allocate works, track progress, manage SLAs and communicate updates to both clients and trades. This is a fast-moving role suited to someone who enjoys variety, momentum, and problem-solving, where no two days look the same.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end coordination of work orders within SLA
- Scheduling and dispatching internal trades and external contractors
- Managing job progress, variations, and completions using a job management system
- Providing clear and timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Troubleshooting issues between clients and contractors in a solutions-focused way
- Building strong, trusted relationships with a national contractor network
- Supporting Account Leads and contributing to overall service performance
- Maintaining compliance with KPIs, processes, and company standards
- Proven experience as a Service Coordinator / Scheduler within a service-based trade environment
- Comfortable managing volume and priorities in a structured but fast-paced setting
- Confident dealing with both clients and trades, with a calm and professional communication style
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly
- Enjoys accountability and ownership, with minimal hand-holding required
- Strong systems capability and ability to quickly learn new job management platforms
- Experience with Simpro or similar systems will be highly regarded
- Stable hours: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00am–4:00pm / 4:30pm
